I want to support ESPA because I am really interested in the process of creating modern and safe standards for paediatric anaesthesia. I see this association as one of the most important bodies responsible not only for creating these standards but also for spreading this knowledge in the whole Europe to make sure that even in a small district hospital every child has a chance to be anaesthetized in a proper and safe way.
ESPA should also try to define and implement common rules of training in paediatric anaesthesia acceptable in all European countries.
The association should be involved in all educational activities connected with paediatric anaesthesia all over the world.
Creating a European Register of Side Effects of Paediatric Anaesthesia will be very helpful to recognize the real needs in the area of paediatric anaesthesia.
